Existing pump full refurbishment
As good as new
The design of a suspended bowl pump lends itself to refurbishment. The pump is made up of 4 main components, the rotating pump end, the column, the discharge head and the thrust bearing assembly.
The majority of the wear and tear inevitably occurs at the pump end and associated rotating components. This causes performance losses and reliability issues, as you would expect the column bearings wear, but very often the actual column can be in very good condition as can the discharge head.
By refurbishing these components whilst replacing the rotating components, a significant saving can be made whilst still delivering all the advantages of the improved performance you would expect to find when installing a new pump.
